KS816 can also be used as a bus transmitter, its universal input channel can receive and configure standard signals, thermocouple signals, and Pt100 signals.
Standard features such as "set point reduction" and "heating/cooling with 4-way alarm" make the KS816 especially suitable for temperature control of plastic handling machinery, heating molds, packaging machinery, tempering equipment, and other similar heat treatment processes.
In addition, for devices using high-power heating elements (such as hot runner control), you can select the "output hold" function to prevent sensor circuit breakage, and select the "start circuit" function to effectively extend the life of heating elements and prevent production interruption. Meter self-tuning can reduce startup time.
KS816 itself does not have a control output, and its output signal is output through the bus as a % duty cycle or binary signal (ON/OFF). For heating element control, PMA provides a remote power output module with the same fieldbus operation.
