Commercial quality steel is used to withstand the harsh effects of the workshop environment. Standard sheet thickness ranges from 1.5 mm (size 16) to 3 mm (size 11). Other meters are available, depending on the application.

Brass or non-metallic guides can be used for the lid. Small and medium-sized LIDS can be supported by non-metallic, low friction guide boots.
Interlocking design
The wraparound structure ensures accurate positioning of each covering section and automatically provides the necessary initial preload for the flexible wiper.
Wiper system
A high-durability, pluggable polyurethane dust ring keeps the lid clean and seals debris, dust, and coolant.
Supporting roller
To ensure smooth and accurate operation, the large cover can be equipped with a roller. Ball bearings, needle roller bearings and many other roller options are also available.
